Subject toAcceptance & presentation
What a paper needs.
- The paper is accepted through double-blind review.
- At least one author registers and presents the paper at the conference.
- The paper is original and not under review elsewhere.
- The similarity index is below 10%, excluding references.
- The paper is prepared in the Springer Nature proceedings template (Word or LaTeX).
Publication is not automatic. Being accepted to present at STELMAR makes a paper eligible for consideration; each venue then decides through its own review or editorial process.
One format for every discipline.
Papers are published in Springer Nature format. Engineering, law, management and liberal arts papers all use the same Springer proceedings template, so prepare your paper in it from the start. Download the Word template or the LaTeX package below.
Microsoft Word template
For authors writing in Word. The template adds a Springer ribbon with one-click styles for the title, authors, abstract, headings, captions and references.
- splnproc2510.docm: template for Word on Windows
- splnproc2510_mac.docm: template for Word for Mac 2016 or newer
- Quick Start.pdf and SPLNPROC Technical Instructions.pdf
LaTeX2e package (llncs)
For authors writing in LaTeX or Overleaf. Start from samplepaper.tex, which already loads the llncs class and Times fonts.
- llncs.cls: the Springer document class
- splncs04.bst: BibTeX style for the reference list
- samplepaper.tex, fig1.eps and samplepaper.pdf as a worked example
- llncsdoc.pdf: full documentation of the class
Already written your paper in another format?
- 01
Pick your template
Word or LaTeX, whichever you write in. Both give the same Springer layout for every track.
- 02
Start from the sample
Open splnproc2510.docm (enable macros) or samplepaper.tex and write over the sample content. Don't restyle an old document by hand.
- 03
Move your content in
Paste as plain text, then apply the template styles: Title, Author, Abstract, Keywords, Heading 1–2, Caption, Reference.
- 04
Convert your references
Switch from APA or other author–date styles to numbered citations [1] and a numbered reference list in order of first citation.
- 05
Check and export
Confirm 6–12 pages, then save Word papers as .docx (never .docm) and export a PDF.
The full formatting checklist is in the author guidelines.
From submission to camera-ready.
- 01
